    Vice-Rector for Research, Program Director

    Univ.-Prof. Dr. Christandl’s research focuses on consumer behavior and cognitive biases. As the author of several academic books and articles, he works at the intersection of psychology and sustainable innovation.

      Academic Senate

      The Academic Senate of the University of Sustainability – Charlotte Fresenius Private University is a central body that advises the Rectorate on key issues related to study programs and continuing education. It makes strategic decisions on research and teaching, contributing significantly to the university’s academic development.

      The Senate consists of representatives from the university professors, academic staff, administrative staff, and student body, ensuring broad participation and diverse perspectives.

      Scientific Advisory Board

      The Scientific Advisory Board of the University of Sustainability – Charlotte Fresenius Private University supports the Rectorate in strategic questions concerning research and teaching. It provides expert input for the continuous development of the university’s sustainability-oriented profile, contributing international academic perspectives and practical experience. Through its expertise, the board plays a key role in ensuring academic quality and positioning the university globally.

      Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee

      The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is committed to equal treatment, equality, and equal opportunities for all university members—regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, worldview, ethnic background, health condition, disability, or impairment. It actively opposes all forms of inequality and discrimination. The committee consists of elected DEI officers representing professors and academic staff.

      Ombudsperson

      The Ombudsperson serves as an independent and confidential contact point for complaints, concerns, or conflicts within the University of Sustainability Vienna – Charlotte Fresenius Private University. The Ombudsperson is responsible for investigating potential academic misconduct, ensuring fair procedures, and offering confidential advice. This role upholds transparency, integrity, and good scientific practice.
