Professorship of Methodology in Economic Psychology

The Professorship of Methodology in Economic Psychology is part of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Sustainability. In our research, we focus on methodological aspects of (economic) psychological research.

In teaching, we cover a wide range of courses in the field of methodology —quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods.

Dominik E. Froehlich is a Professor of Methodology in Economic Psychology at the University of Sustainability. Previously, he was a Professor of Management at the New Design University.

He has an interdisciplinary background in educational science (habilitation at the University of Vienna) and economic psychology (doctorate at Maastricht University). His methodological research focuses on mixed methods and social network analysis. Substantively, his work covers a wide range of topics, such as organizational and academic careers and innovative teaching methods. In addition to his academic work, he has founded several companies whose activities align closely with his research interests.
